Product Review ~ HealthyWiser pH Alkaline Booster Drops

As most of you know I am on a serious health kick, trying to do better physically and mentally. Last week I had the opportunity to try out HealthyWiser's pH strips, which I thoroughly enjoyed finding out my favorite drinks and foods degree of alkalinity. 

In this journey to make my body more alkaline I have now incorporated HealthyWiser's pH Alkaline Booster Drops. These drops are completely tasteless, which I love. I can add them to my water and tea and raise the pH level in help to make the beverage more alkaline. I have been doing this to my water mainly, adding 6 drops per 8oz. According to the instructions, I do not exceed 4 cups (with drops). I still get my whole gallon of water in a day but of that gallon only 4 cups have the alkaline drops in it.

It's my hopes to continue to monitor my pH level as I have learned a more alkaline body is a healthier body. My goal is to continue to listen to my body, watch my nutrition, watch my pH levels with the help of HealthyWiser products, and continue to exercise. The ultimate goal is to be in the best shape and healthy as I possibly 

can. Overall, I give HealthyWiser’s Alkaline Booster drops a 5 out 5 stars. They are easy to use, just 6 drops per 8 oz of water or tea. It’s completely tasteless so you are not jacking up your perfectly brewed/steeped tea.

Product Review ~ HealthyWiser pH Test Strips 120 ct

2018 is my year to get healthier and focus more on me. I have been reading up on becoming more alkaline and in so doing it not only assists in losing weight but also helps the immune system as well. 

This flu season alone has me using over my quota of hand sanitizer, washing my hands more and protecting my body on the outside. But I did not stop to think that there are also some things that can help me protect my immune system and weight loss from the inside out. 

HealthyWiser pH Health test strips monitor how alkaline or acidic your body is. This test can be done using saliva or urine. After eating or drinking, you can test how that particular product will affect your body. Your body functions better when it is chemically balanced.

With this test strip, I was able to monitor how different waters showed up on the spectrum. I tested tap water straight from the faucet, filtered water from Publix, and finally filtered water from my SOMA water filter. Results -  none of the waters were alkaline. 

 


Pros: The HealthyWiser strips are so easy to use. The instructions are included in the box as well as the legend printed on the back of the container. The legend is super clear to understand. I just placed the strip next to the legend and moved it over to the correct color codes to determine the pH level. I give this product a 4 out of 5 stars and would recommend it to others.

Cons: There aren't really any cons other than a personal preference of wanting the full instructions on how to use the strips to be on the plastic casing.

AquaSpa Square Rain Shower Head ~ Product Review

There's nothing like having a relaxing shower after a hard day's work. What woman wouldn't love to have a little spa treatment in their very own bathroom?  I got the chance to review the AquaSpa 10.5" square rain shower head. I have always wanted a rain shower head with extended arm, and this one does not dissappoint.

As most of you know I am not handy at all, so the first test of times was to put the showerhead together. What I like most about this showerhead is that it came with very few pieces (less items for me to lose, if you know what I mean).

The hardest part to get on was the actual square. After a little elbow grease and multiple tries I got it attached and we were in working order. Initially I did have a leak at the top of the shower head, but it was determined quickly that it was user error and not a product problem.

Pros: This showerhead was pretty easy to install. The water pressure is great on the rain shower head. The chrome look is gorgeous and looks highend. The material the showerhead and extended arm is sturdy and seems like it will last quite a while rust free.

Cons: There aren't really any cons for this product. I did have a little trouble installing the shower head to the bar, but that was determined to be user error.

Liwithpro Active Noise Canceling Bluetooth Headphones ~ Product Review

I cannot express to you how excited I have been to review the Liwithpro Active Noise Canceling Headphones. I have always wanted a pair to use at work and the gym. Working in a call center like area, one needs to be able to drown out all of the noise from other colleagues. The same goes for working out in the gym. There is nothing like being disrupted due to random conversations when you are trying to workout and be "In the Zone!"

Liwithpro includes the following accessories with the headphones: aux audio cable, USB charging cable, 6.3mm stereo-plug adapter, and detachable 3.5mm audio cable, hard carry case, small mesh bag for cords, and a dual-plug adapter.

The aux cable has a pretty decent length to it. I was able to get on both the treadmill and elliptical, plug it into my phone and lightly jog without there being tension in the cord or the phone falling to the floor.

Pros: The headphones are surprisingly light and comfortable to wear for more than 5 hours at a time. What I love the most is the over the ear cuffs. They are soft and do not cause one's ears to get warm or sweat. Once charged the headphones provide hours of play. I have not tested it beyond 8 hours, but I in the 3 days of use I had yet to charge the set again. 

Cons: The only con that I can think of really isn't that much of a con, but it was noticeable. The noise canceling feature does not provide that much more noise canceling when flipped on. There is a small noticeable difference. With that being said the headphones naturally have built-in noise canceling. In the office setting, I was unable to hear clearly what my neighbors were speaking of and it completely nixed the white noise machine that's setup. At the gym, I could barely hear the outside music being played but definitely couldn't hear the random conversations surrounding me (now this is without the noise canceling being turned on).

AirJet-700 Luxury Dual Shower Combo ~ Product Review

Sometimes a girl just likes to relax and have a spa moment in her own shower. When I tell you this was a great experience on all levels, I can not say it enough. The AirJet-700 was easy to set up. I was a little concerned about how I, "Ms. Not Handy At All," would be able to assemble this shower head. Surprisingly, the instructions were easy to follow, there were less than 10 steps, and there were pictures to assist me properly setting up the showerhead.

The material is silver plated but not heavy at all. Everything that I screwed in seems sturdy and durable. None of the connections leaked which was great and allowed me to pretty rejoice in that I set it up correctly and that I had no faulty parts.

The AirJet-700 has three settings. You can utilize the rainfall showerhead, hand-held showerhead, or both at the same time. There is a knob on the left that allows you to change the flow of the water, easy to access and configure to your liking. The feature that I like the most is the button, located on both the rainfall showerhead and hand-held showerhead, that gives you the choice of the intensity of the water.

While there is a change in the water pressure when you are on the massage setting, I wish it was just a little harder (just a smidge). But even with this, I am still satisfied with the product.

VIVREAL HOME Hair Remover ~ Product Review

VIVREAL Home Hair Remover is a small compact shaver that helps women remove unwanted hair. As a woman that has PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome), I experience one of the many side effects of excess androgen. This causes excess growth of facial hair.

The VIVREAL Hair remover is a painless quick way to remove excess body hair. It left my skin smooth with no nicks or skin irritation. Now I will say just with any other shaver I did follow the shave with witch hazel and my normal moisturizing cream.

The shaver is really easy to use. It takes 2 AA batteries and even has a light on the end of it to help pinpoint trouble spots. Like I said before it is pain-free and surprisingly provides a close shave. I used the shaver for a close shave on my face. But it can be used for underarms, legs, and bikini line as well. While I have not used this on wet skin, according to the maker it can be used in the shower. I would not advise using it directly under the water though.

Survival Hax's 3-Season Mummy Sleeping bag is a lightweight sleepy bag that is pretty comfortable. As an added bonus the sleeping bag comes in a very easy to access carrying pouch. It fits securely and most importantly neatly into its carrying case and can be attached to one's hiking bags.

This mummy sleeping bag is ideal for spring, summer, and fall outdoor activities. But as I like to say it can also be used for a living room slumber party or a girls night. While this sleeping bag is light to carry, make no mistake it does hold in heat. You will be nice and warm with a little cushion between you and the ground.

The mummy dome hoodie portion of the is another of my favorite parts of the sleeping bag. It comfortably surrounds one's head and helps in the cool nights keep your head warm and cushiony. Packing this sleeping bag up is a breeze. No cumbersome ties or strings to worry about, just roll the sleeping bag up and put it right back into your carrying bag "Eazy Peazy."
