Vellepro Hydrometer Thermometer ~ Product Review

Vellepro’s hydrometer digital thermometer; a mouth full. I and my cubicle mate are always complaining at work about the temperature in the office space. It literally is too cold and the air conditioner never turns off. The constant blowing of dry air can wreak havoc on sinuses.

The Vellepro device took a little while to set up, the instructions are clear but the device does not always respond well with the touchpad. It has a slight delay that can cause one to press the mode button one to many times and you will have to let it cycle through and start over. This piece reminds me of the old school rotary phones.

As you can see from the photo, the device is very colorful and has quite a few features. There is a digital clock, alarm clock, thermometer, hydrometer, comfort meter, as well as displays the humidity. The temperature can be displayed in Celsius or Fahrenheit.

I just really find it great to be able to view this information within the office without having to find the thermometer. What is even an added bonus are the magnets on the back. They are small but oh so strong. They took away the pushpin cork board and replaced them with metal dry erase boards. So this is perfect for this device.

SoulSoundMagic Bluetooth Earpiece ~ Product Review

Soulsoundmagic Bluetooth is a very tiny earpiece that packs a punch. This small Bluetooth took about an hour and a half to two hours to charge. I charged it about three days ago and it still has juice. According to Amazon it will have about 160 hours of standby time, which is really decent.

What I like most is the button. You may ask why? There is only one to start the Bluetooth and turn it off. Soulsoundmagic is keeping it simple and I love it. There is a small light indicator that shows the user when the unit is charging, when the unit is fully charged, as well as when it is connected to a Bluetooth enabled device.

The test of times was trying both yoga and Zumba with the earbud in my ear. This small device made it through and entire one-hour yoga class and did not fall out. I could clearly hear the soothing music that I was playing and it was crystal clear. Now while I did not play music or videos during Zumba, this test was just only to determine if the unit would fall out. And guess what it didn’t, it stayed securely in my ear not budging. Now while I do not believe this unit should be routinely put the sweat test, it did hold up to a one and half our intense Zumba class and is still functioning appropriately.

Refrigerator Magnets ~ Product Review

 Everybody needs to have that go to office accessories and magnets are one of them. It use to be a time of the push pins, but now that my cubicle no longer has a cork board but all around metal. So how does one keep up with their sticky notes and loose leaf notes: MAGNETS (right on)

These magnets are really really strong and tiny but get the job done. So strong that when they get linked it takes a little strength to get them apart. Although they are tiny they are also stylish with a nickel cover making them go with any generic office setting.

Now during testing I was able to whole up seven full size pages with one magnet and no slippage. The package comes with a total of 45 magnets and nice carrying case. The carrying case is made of plastic but insures that the user is able to store these small magnets with no worries of losing them. The case has a latch to ensure the magnets stay put.

Now, I mostly use the magnets in the office but they can also be used on the refrigerator or any metal service. I must also include a warning, these magnets are not suitable for small kids as they can pose a choking hazard.

Artiqo Paint Pens ~ Product Review

I am having a blast painting margarita glasses, wine glasses, and coffee mugs. The Artiqo paint pen is easy to use and the paint is very bright and colorful. With 15 different colors, the sky literally is the limit. 

My first project was to paint a mug for a family member. It came out great. The paint dried in about 25 minutes with no smudges on the ceramic mug. Now the only thing that could be worked on design wise, you really have to work the paint initially to get a smooth stream for the markers. But once that is done painting objects is easy and the colors were really bright and popping on the two objects I painted.

I plan to get a lot of use out of these pens by doing a flower series on margarita glasses next. It takes little to no pressure to get the paint to adhere to the surfaces. The paint also does not run and ruin your workstation. It goes on a little think but does not dry thick or with ridges.

HoneForest Digital pH Meter Tester ~ Product Review

Yes, I am at it again but with an even better product. As you all know I am on a serious water intake health kick. I have been researching pH balances and how to make my body more alkaline. Well to do that one must first know the pH balance of the liquid they are putting into themselves.

HoneForest’s digital pH meter allows me to quickly test the pH levels and temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. Having this power in the palm of my hands empowers me in making better choices in what I drink; especially with the types of water I drink.

I tested 5 different types of water with varying pH balances. The purpose of this test is to make sure I was using the HoneForest meter correctly as well as test to see if the pH number provided on the water labels are concurrent with the numbers on the meter.

For the most part the waters were slightly off 1.0 -2.0 points except for Body Armor water it was only off a fraction of a point. Having a digital meter takes the guess work on if you are drinking a more alkaline water or if you it is a bust. I like things fast and efficient and HoneForest’s provides that with this meter, it only takes a few seconds to get a reading.

Pros: The meter is digital and gives a precise number. This is a great advance from doing the traditional test strip test. It also does this quickly.

Cons: Sometimes the meter fluctuates a lot before settling down a number. It was also a little difficult to calibrate the 9-pH pack initially.

SOCOO Water Jug 2.2L Large Water Bottle ~ Product Review

SOCOO's 2.2L Water Jug is not only stylish but it is also my entire daily water intake in one jug. The big jug holds approximately 74.4 oz of water. At first impressions I loved the black and white pattern on the jug it makes it stand out. 

Upon opening the box I discovered that the jug, when empty, is quite light even though it is fairly large water bottle. This is a great positive for me because 2.2L is not a small amount of water. This jug is not insulated so it will not hold the cold water well without adding ice. With that being said I did put huge amounts of ice in it and over time it did not sweat too much on the outside of the bottle. 

The spout is a decent size and the water flow pretty good as well. Whether, using SOCOO water jug for exercise or just to get your daily water take in, this bottle is sturdy, easy to carry around, and most of all stylish.
